About selection commitee

The selection committee is composed of the current Section Activities Committee. Committee members will refrain from scoring, recommending and voting for their own section. The sections staff team will participate in the committee’s activities, providing support for administering the award. The staff may have input in the selection of award winners but will not have a vote in the selection. The committee shall have the authority to rule on all matters not specifically covered by these rules, and any issues, including the selection of the award recipient, are decided by a majority vote. The committee shall have flexibility in the number of awards granted (may award more or less awards than the targeted amount) and may use “Honorable Mention” citations as deemed appropriate.
