
SPE is a professional association whose 79,000-plus members worldwide are engaged in energy resources development and production. SPE is a key resource for technical information related to oil and gas exploration and production and provides services online and through its publications, meetings, and other programs.
SPE Student Chapter faculty sponsors or the chairman of any petroleum engineering department have until 1 November to nominate a candidate for one of two Nico van Wingen Memorial Graduate Fellowship in Petroleum Engineering. The fellowship is supported by the van Wingen fund of the SPE Foundation, and is intended for doctoral candidates planning to enter academia. Up to two USD 5,000 scholarships are available.
