Disciplines: Completions | Reservoir

Course Description

The course introduces the unique aspects and issues surrounding HPHT cementing. At the end of this course, delegates should be able to demonstrate familiarity with and understanding of the following:

  • Introduction to HPHT
  • Cementing challenges in HPHT wells (zonal isolation, lost circulation, chemistry and geology)
  • How to find a fit for purpose cement solution in HPHT wells
  • Laboratory testing and gap analysis (API and non API procedures),
  • Open discussion and review of topics
