PRMS - Then and Now
Disciplines: Reservoir
Course Description
Since its release in 2007, the Petroleum Resources Management System (PRMS) has become the de facto industry standard for petroleum resources definitions, classification and categorization. Based on principles rather than rules, the PRMS differentiates resources on the basis of project maturity and uncertainty of recovery from a petroleum accumulation. This one-day course will review the basic concepts behind the PRMS and the evolutionary (rather than revolutionary) updates from the 2007 document.

Why Attend
PRMS is the basis for both internal and external classification, reporting and inventorying of petroleum assets by many international and national oil and gas companies. It is a standard accepted by many regulators for resources reporting by companies listed on international stock exchanges; for private companies and investors, PRMS provides the foundation for internal asset management.
Who Attends
Geoscientists, engineers, accountants, managers and others with an interest in developing petroleum assets.
CEUs
0.8 CEUs (Continuing Education Units) are awarded for this 1-day course.
