Ming Ma

Ming Ma is a doctoral degree candidate in energy and mineral engineering (petroleum and natural gas engineering option) at Penn State. His primary research focuses on enhanced oil recovery (EOR) in shale reservoirs, reservoir modeling and simulation, and carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS).

Ming earned BS degrees in petroleum engineering from China University of Petroleum (East China) and an MS degree in oil & gas field development engineering from the China University of Petroleum (Beijing). Ming is an active member of the SPE and was the recipient of the SPE 2023 Technical Reviewer Outstanding Service Awards.
