SPE US Advisory Council
The US Advisory Council (USAC) has the responsibility of providing critical strategic guidance from regional members to localize technical content and identify regional needs to be addressed in the events organized by SPE while supporting related initiatives to aid SPE’s mission of technology and knowledge transfer.
The objectives of the US Advisory Council are:
- To guide, recommend, and provide feedback for topic generation for conferences, symposia, workshops, forums, training courses, and identify technical gaps relevant and in-demand in the region.
- To improve and encourage volunteerism amongst members through guidance and mentorship for new program chairs and committee members.
- To advise on ways to improve technical quality for all SPE Americas events.
