Why Attend

Technological breakthroughs in field development and production are creating access to the vast unconventional oil and gas resources.

Currently, the oil and gas industry is convinced that using the known unconventional reservoirs development and production technologies, there is at least as much unconventional oil and gas accessible today as there is in conventional hydrocarbon fields.

North America net recoverable shale gas and oil reserves, in particular, have expanded enough to meet oil and gas demand for the next decades at current rates of consumption. Oil sources in the United States and Canada are now estimated at over three trillion barrels.

Many other countries have also found substantial amounts of unconventional oil and gas waiting to be produced, for which implementation of data interpretation techniques, development, and production technologies are required.

This course provides insights of unconventional shale oil/gas production data analysis, practices, and approaches.

Who Attends

This course is for professionals working in the development and production of hydrocarbon reservoirs who need insights related to unconventional shale oil and gas production and data analysis.

CEUs

0.8 CEUs (Continuing Education Units) are awarded for this 1-day course.
